Well here he is!!!! Finally after 4 long years of searching, I've finally found my bay pinto stallion ... introducing "Fox Lane's Wild Fire" aka "Fox"! Fox is registered AMHR and Foundation Shetland and his background includes many well known names in the Shetland and Miniature horse lines: Grahams, Michigan, Winks, H.P.Jericho. He is so easy to work with and a sweetie in general so he fits in here just perfectly.

Fox's sire Michigan's Fox Fire is AMHR/ASPC Hall of Fame in both Halter and Performance (Pleasure Driving); winning both as a Miniature at Nationals and at Congress as a Shetland. Fox Fire, a lovely black pinto, was 2004 Grand Champion National All Star Halter Stallion & Reserve Champion Pleasure Driving Horse (for more about his wins, see his link). Fox's dam, "Graham's Lady of Fashion", is an AMHR/ASPC Foundation Shetland sorrel pinto who has Arenosa breeding in her background. She is a beautiful mare who has foaled 2 other lovely double registered foals: a solid black filly and a black pinto colt.

Thank you to everyone who kept their ears open and eyes peeled looking for a bay pinto colt for me over the past years. Thank you to Cathy & Bob Franks from Fox Lane Farm of Loudonville, Ohio http:// www.foxlanefarms.com/ for allowing me to purchase this wonderful young colt and thank you to the Zammits (and Sam Shaver of course <G>) for helping me pick him up.

As of March 16, 2009 the Animal Genetics Lab in Tallahassee, Florida confirmed Fox tests positive for having the Homozygous gene for Tobiano pinto ... only pinto foals from this boy when he starts breeding.
