Now here is what you want when you walk into that show ring! Alize is tiny and leggy with delicate features and has a lovely floaty trot that catches your attention when she is strutting her stuff. This filly is going to make someone a lovely show horse and future broodmare bringing her great conformation and small size into your herd. Both her sire and her dam are AMHR Top Ten Canadian and AMHR Top Ten National All Star winners in Halter and Performance and we're sure Alize will follow in her parents footsteps and be this successful too! She is a very quick learner, excellent to lead and clip with a very sweet disposition. We hope to place this lovely wee gal in a show home where she can be shown to her fullest potential and thus offer a show home discount.

Want to put some colour and pizzazz into your herd? Patch can do this for you! Due to a change in our breeding program and acquiring a new stallion, Patch needs a new home with his own mares. Patch is a flashy Chocolate Silver Dapple Pinto “A” Division stallion with beautiful blue eyes whose sire is Chico San Marcos (AMHR# 42364A) and his dam is Vista’s Little Olivia (AMHR# 21220A).

Patch has a wonderful temperament to work with and has sired a number of excellent quality foals (the majority of which have been fillies so far); his foals share his willing, eager-to-learn attitude. Two of his fillies have been on the show circuit and doing well. Lady Tawny Twist, Patch’s 2003 daughter, has proven herself in the show ring with Judy Bakker of Sunfire Miniatures. In her first year of showing, Tawny made an outstanding showing debut by receiving 3 Grand Champions and 2 Reserve Champions in her Over Mare divisions at the OMHC AMHR Sanctioned Show circuit. She received her AMHR Top Ten Canadian All Stars in 2005: Junior Champion Mare (Over), Canadian All Star Champion AMHR 2 Year Old Mare (over) and Canadian All Star Reserve Champion awards in 2005. Dakotawinds Zonda has continued her success in the show ring with her new owners by ranking 2007 Top Ten in National All-Stars.

Patch is correct with a good bite and, due to the Shetland lines in his background, has awesome movement. He was shown successfully on the MHCO and AMHR show circuits, placing in the AMHR Top Ten Canadian All Stars. He is versatile in Halter, Obstacle and his specialty, Jumping. He was green broke to drive in 2005 and was showing great promise but unfortunately, due to our busy schedule, did not have a lot of driving miles put on him. This lovely boy has it all with the potential to take you into whatever discipline you want: breeding, driving or showing or staying at home and producing beautiful babies that go on and win in the show ring!

Patch has a good mind and an eager-to-please attitude. He is friendly, kind, gentle and excellent to clip and work around. He is well mannered for the Vet and Farrier and has been both hand bred and pasture bred to his band of mares. Currently up to date on all vaccinations, farrier work and worming as of spring 2008. All Health papers will be provided to the buyer and are included in a folder with his current AMHR Registration paperwork.
