Tansey was born in Red Deer, Alberta and
was brought to Ontario when she was 5 years of age. Her original
breeder said Tansey, as a foal, would often lie in his daughter’s
lap. This people-friendly nature has continued to be Tansey’s
trademark. She is a lovely little mare whose greatest asset
is her pretty dishy head. An awesome Mom who passes on her
good nature to all her foals, Tansey is an easy breeder, foals
easily and is an excellent broodmare. She is easily handled
by children due to her quiet nature. Tansey has been in a
number of parades and public events; proving her worth as
a confident and calm horse in these types of scenarios. Her
new owners say Tansey is doing well and is a real pleasure
to care for. They are having fun showing her at local fairs.
