When I first met Fly,
she put her head into my chest as if to say “Please
take me home”. I did and I’ve never regretted
it since. Fly has taken hold of our heart strings and is
holding on tight; she is my equine soulmate. A friend of
mine who knows Fly sent this to me saying it described Fly
quite well (and I couldn't agree more):
"Pedigree indicates what the animal
should be
Conformation indicates what the animal appears to be
Performance indicates what the animal actually is"

Fly has proven to be an exceptional overall mare, both as a broodmare and on the show circuit; excelling in Halter, Performance and her specialty, Driving, earning numerous wins and Championships in these areas. She's even proved she can harness race as she won her first race in 2008 at the annual Miniature Horse Harness race at Hanover. We look forward to her future foals and continuing to show her when she's not staying home on "maternity leave".
