Aquilo was our ninth foal, a filly, born here at Dakota Winds Farm. Aquilo means “A northwesterly wind in ancient Rome” and we added "Sevens" to her registered name to signify the unique date she was born. What a combination Sirocco and Fly made: this filly has top quality written all over her with movement from her Mom! Originally we had planned to sell her but have changed our minds as we feel she will be an excellent addition to our broodmare herd (and as a bonus she is such a sweetheart in nature!). In the meantime, she has joined our show string and is already showing great promise.
