Alize was our eleventh foal, a filly, born here at Dakota
Winds Farm one day before Mother's Day. Our eldest daughter,
Heather adores May as they have shown so much together so
we gave her the honour to name May's foal this year. Alize
means “a northeasterly wind across central Africa
and the Caribbean”. Alize is tiny and leggy with delicate
features: this filly is going to make someone a lovely show
horse and future broodmare!
